Better than beating the Hokies two times in a season is beating the Hokies THREE times in a season! Especially in the ACC tourney. Yeah, I know we're gonna be UNC's [censored], but we sent the Hokies to the house, and maybe punched a NIT ticket (which is a whole lot better than I would have ever imagined when the sason started).
Hey vt22: What was that you were saying on your predictions about the tourney? Wanting MD to win, so you all would get us? Be careful of what you wish for....

When the ACC was formed, having the tourney in Greensboro, NC made sense. The league was predominately North Carolina teams. Add FSU, Miami, BC, VT (along with Maryland, UVA, Clemson, GT, and Miami), and it seems a bit unfair. This thing is basically a home game for the NC schools. having said that, why not rotate, say DC, Atlanta,Richmond...etc. I know the SEC is in Atlanta, but it could be other sites, not just the ones that I mentioned. It sucks to be say Miami and have to play basically a road game in the tournament. Heck, you'd be better satellite sighting IMO. You would be rewarding the higher seed (can't b i t c h if you didn't TCB). Just my rant of the week folks.

They made accomadations to give miami and fsu a home game for the football championship so I guess its somewhat fair that the carolina schools get an advantage for hoops.
